Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Lingomundo (the “Service”), operated by Greenglow Software LLC, doing business as Lingomundo (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

Lingomundo generates language-practice phrase drills and audio lessons from prompts you provide, either in the app or through a connected AI assistant (via the Model Context Protocol). The Service uses third-party large language model and text-to-speech providers to generate content.

2. Your account

• You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account, including drills created by AI assistants you connect.
• You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the prompts you submit. You grant us the license needed to operate the Service: storing your prompts and generated drills, sending prompts to our model providers, and serving the resulting text and audio back to you. Drills you mark as public or unlisted are visible to others; keep drills private if you do not want that.

4. Acceptable use

• No unlawful, infringing, or abusive content in prompts or drills you publish.
• No attempts to disrupt the Service, circumvent usage limits, or access other users’ private data.
• Automated access is welcome through the documented API and MCP connector with your own credentials — not by scraping or credential sharing.

5. AI-generated content

Generated phrases, translations, and audio are produced by machine-learning models and may be wrong, awkward, or inappropriate despite our safeguards. The Service is a learning aid; do not rely on it where an incorrect translation could cause harm.

6. Usage limits and availability

Generation is subject to fair-use limits (for example, daily caps on drill and audio creation). The Service is provided “as is” without uptime guarantees; we may change, suspend, or discontinue features. The Service is young and storage may still evolve — download lesson audio you care about, and treat the Service as a practice tool rather than an archive. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practical.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your profile page, which removes your account and your drills. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Disclaimer and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and limit our liability to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (currently zero for the free Service). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes to these Terms

When we change these Terms materially we will bump the published version and ask you to accept again before continuing to use your account.
